Chantal “Taly” Russell founded SilverChair Partners to be the highest quality brand in Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant job placement.A longtime leader in administrative and HR search recruiting in the United States, Taly has met the needs of highly selective firms and individuals seeking support or assistant roles for over a decade. She served on the Executive Committee for the last six years as well as having two senior roles at renowned global executive search firm, Glocap Search, from 2003-2012. Prior to that, Taly was a Casting Director in New York and Los Angeles.
Taly’s cross-industry competence, paired with her desire to cut down on the work grind and find new opportunities to grow and create, eventually inspired her to take a leap of her own: she founded SilverChair Partners, a prestigious search firm that handles the best and brightest Executive, Personal and Chief of Staff support roles for top tier clients in finance, media, technology, advertising, real estate, management consulting and entrepreneurial. SilverChair Partners primarily places professionals in NYC-based roles, but also has select searches in San Francisco, Los Angeles and globally (London based).
“I wanted a more balanced life for my colleagues and myself that would support personal, ongoing life changes, and a working culture that welcomes and acknowledges each individual’s professional and personal needs,” Taly explained in a Business News Daily entrepreneurship feature. The first step? Defining SilverChair Partners’ basic principles and mindset from the get-go, so that they could build the strongest foundation possible. Since then, Taly has worked to develop a business environment that’s at once collaborational and supportive for all employees.
As an entrepreneur with a long history in search recruiting, Taly has cultivated a keen and multifaceted perspective on business growth, team-building, and the importance of investing in others’ talents (not to mention your own!). She founded SilverChair Partners because she listened to her gut and followed her own passion — and now she’s ready to share what she’s learned with budding entrepreneurs who are ready to turn their own business dreams into reality.

Taly was born in Zurich, Switzerland and grew up in New York City. She attended New York University’s Stern School and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree concentrating on Econ.
As the founder and CEO of an “Ivy League” senior recruitment agency, Taly has been recognized as a leader in her industry. She is also highly active in a variety of nonprofit organizations, such as The Lung Cancer Research Foundation, the Green Schools Alliance, ASPCA, Charity Water, and Stop Poaching Now.
